Angela: Healthier & Happier
In 2015, Angela sought help at Athens Wellness Clinic for high blood pressure. In 2022, she faced a new challenge with a type 2 diabetes diagnosis and an alarming HgA1c level of 11%. Through collaborative efforts, the clinic provided lifestyle coaching, free metformin via our mail-order pharmacy partner, and insulin at no cost through our patient assistance program. Angela's commitment, coupled with the clinic's support, stabilized her A1c at 6% for over a year.
